"We love our Seniors"

Dad..... Dana Andrews at the Alexandria sub-section match,  holds the banner the Moms made for the tournaments.  This last match for the Seniors  left dreams unfulfilled but memories that go back to elementary years.

Thanks for coming to this our last Volleyball web page.  It has been a pleasure for me to do these over the years......more then your will ever realize.  You have been a very interesting group of ladies to watch over the years.  As you reflect on your years together, remember to thank your parents and coaches.  All this didn't just happen, you know.  You are a very strong group of ladies, personalities that are certain of themselves.  Use your strengths well and carefully,  continue to grow and change.

Thanks for a great effort.
Thanks boys!!!   Your loyalty was noticed.
Jammin' Jacket Coach,  Mike started with you lady jackets and as so many have done over the years,  believed in your strengths and tried to work to bring the best out in you. We kept trying to give these to Alex fans to wave, but they figured it out.

The Perham Yellow Jacket Moms put on their own "Pep-fest" before the Alexandria Match.

Hey Girls, you will always be Number One in our hearts.  The memories are wonderful. We needed Sandy here, too.  Of all the times to have shoulder surgery.
No, those are NOT flypaper strips.  This is pre-game pep up. These are faces that you girls should remember as some of your best fans.
OK, Ladies, do you have your players figured out?  Each of us will enact some characteristic of the senior players. Debbie, acting out Jessica's fantastic topspin serve.  Jessica, you have had some awesome games, and No, you Don't look like this!

Janet, let it never be said that you are anything but in tune! Jodi, you missed your calling.  You should be on the stage.  Dressed for the team pre-game entertainment, the MOMS had fun.

These girls have had 3 and 4 generations of family supporting them.  Alexandria has stopped us for two years in getting to state. Endless energy goes into all the "extras" so that our girls can get out there and play.

The team mascot, cuddly and dressed up to go to the Alexandria match, waiting for the team.  Kind of nice to be supported by a gentle soul that is all eyes and ears, with no opinions.

If you want to leave any messages for posterity,  a message to your team-mates or parents -- please e-mail it.

(Note to you senior players:    If you want a cd copy of all the volleyball, homecoming, etc,  web pages that Grass Roots has generated over the years, please let me know and I will be glad to 'burn' one for you.
