Citizen Kristin resonates with many locals who
like the rural areas because of it's distance from the large forces of
government "Democracy promotes the mistaken philosophy that we have a right
to determine how others should live."
"Today, I believe the greatest threat to fair democracy is
our current focus on corporate profit's and consumerism. When the
value of a company over shadows the voices of the individuals, democracy
is unfair." John Staub's presence made us all feel with
'the regular guy' in front of the audience and cameras lights
......so that's how they do that!
Its nice to observe that since the '93 debate......it
doesn't make any difference to us locals whether the TV camera is there
or not, except that some of us dress up better and we have a cop
at the door.
The best is that particle of time when you've
got us engaged.
Love those moments of engagement
We probably would have paid the ticket price
just to watch the c-span folks do their art. It was like watching
the bench rather then the game during any Mills-Perahm contest.
Harold Karvonen goes 'national' with c-span.
It's not just letters 'to the editor' at the Harold and EB newspapers,
any more.

representing the Italian, Catholic, Conservative, but Rural folks.
Keep on raising the bar Jerry, Thanks from us all.
Voting after all is the mid point of the the process
democracy. We sure got into it.........................
